The Franklin Township Vol. Fire Co. established in 1972 is dedicated to
providing public services to the citizens and visitors of Franklin Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania. As a team we are committed to the responsibilities we carry which include the preservation of life and the protection of personal property to those we serve. Our department will strive for excellence in fire suppression, land and water rescues, containment of hazardous material spillage, medical services, and protection against disasters. The department’s advances in public safety awareness through its fire
prevention and educational programs allow the delivery of these services that enables the members to make significant contributions to the safety of the Franklin Township residents. From our humble beginnings to the professional volunteer department that exists today, we remain ready to serve the community in any situation. Ethical value, trust, and camaraderie that are imperative to the fire service will remain at the core of every decision made by each of our department members. Through sustained training, progressive education, constant diligence, and service before self we will provide the highest level of customer service.
